To achieve IEC 60270 required verification of test setup prior to conducting measurements, the Omicron CAL 542 Charge Calibrator feeds a defined charge pulse into the measuring circuit. The partial discharge detection system is then calibrated to this value.

Easy to use, the charge value of the CAL 542 is shown on the display and can be adjusted using two buttons, and a battery power supply allows the calibrator to be used anytime, anywhere.
