Protec’s calibration process involves measuring various physical parameters such as voltage, current, resistance, frequency, torque, temperature against traceable standards of higher accuracy, in a controlled laboratory environment. We identify both instrument and measurement errors and document these deviations from specifications. When possible, we adjust or repair the instrument to bring it within acceptable tolerances.
We also provide onsite calibration services for equipment that cannot be easily transported. For example, our technician traveled to Indiana to perform onsite calibration at Potomac Testing. Eliminating downtime and logistical challenges for the customer.
