Safety rated to CAT IV 600 V the MIT400 series of testers are suitable for use in high energy systems, up to substation transformers, while lower test voltages can be used in data and telecommunication systems. The Megger MIT400 testers are also very useful for the checking of the electrical system in hybrid and electric vehicles.
A key feature of the design of the testers is their waisted profile making them easy to hold by operators with the smallest of hands, and it can be used right or left-handed.

The MIT40X Industrial Insulation Tester can be selected over a range from 10 V to 100 V. Applications include avionics, marine and other military applications, manufacturing, electrostatic measurement and component testing.
Megger MIT410 Industrial Insulation Tester
The MIT410 Industrial Insulation Tester has 5 insulation voltage ranges from 50 V to 1000 V and an insulation resistance range of 100 GΩ. Basic full scale accuracy is ±3% ± 2 digits. The unit also provides PI and DAR timed functions.
Megger MIT485 Industrial Insulation Tester
The MIT485 Industrial Insulation Tester is designed to cope with the additional requirements of the telecommunications industry, with insulation testing to 1000 V and to 200 G ohms and Continuity testing at 200 mA down to 0.01 ohms.
