The Raytech TR-SPY Mark II Three Phase TTR (Transformer Turns Ratio) is a very useful tool used in the routine maintenance, acceptance testing and for investigating the core, windings, and tap changer settings of transformers for common problems such as:
– Shorted turns & turn errors
– Defective or incorrect tap settings
– Mislabeled terminals & nameplates
– Degradation of performance due to aging
With 13 programmable three-phase transformer configurations available for selection during testing, the Raytech TR-SPY Mark II Three Phase TTR allows for testing of power transformers, current transformers (CT’s) and potential transformers (PT’s) by fully analyzing the transformer configuration, automatically measuring and displaying voltage ratio, turns ratio, current and phase displacement on a large graphical backlit LCD.
Other features of the Raytech TR-SPY Mark II Three Phase TTR include: single pushbutton operation, load on test object <0.5VA, four selectable test voltages- 1, 10, 40 or 100V, and with an internal memory for up to 4000 complete sets of test data, 9-pin RS232 interface for download to PC and a 25-pin centronics port for printout on-site with any standard parallel printer, the Raytech TR-SPY Mark II Three Phase TTR is ideal for measuring the ratio, voltage, current and phase displacement of transformers.
