The Megger BM15 Analog 5kV Insulation Resistance Tester is a general purpose, 5 kV insulation tester for electrical contractors and engineers who test machinery, transformers, switchgear, cables, etc.
The Megger BM15 is a compact 5 kV insulation tester that is easy to use and offers an accurate reading of insulation resistance. The tester utilizes an analogue display with a maximum reading of 20 GΩ. Powered by batteries, the MJ15 has an additional hand-cranked generator, and instrument operation is extremely simple.
The Megger BM15 Analog 5kV Insulation Resistance Tester offers four test voltages to 5 kV, a dual power supply option, a resilient mounted analogue scale, a voltage range to 600 V that indicates auto discharge, a pass/fail overlay for rapid testing, and a single scale for insulation value, helping to avoid operator error.
A voltage range enables measurement of a.c. or d.c. conductor potential. Four test voltages are available at 500 V, 1 kV, 2,5 kV and 5 kV.
