The operation of electrical equipment depends on the controlled flow of current within the design parameters. When increased demands are placed on various aspects of the electrical circuitry, low resistance measurements are recommended to prevent long term damage to existing equipment and to minimize energy wasted as heat.
Megger DLROs or digital low resistance ohmmeter are built to endure tough working conditions, while offering reliable test results assuring that electric equipment is functioning properly.
Megger DLRO 600 Digital Micro-Ohmmeter
The unique design allows the weight and size of DLRO 600 to be kept to a minimum; the instrument weighs less than 33 lbs (15kg). This small size makes DLRO 600 equally at home in the workshop, on the production floor or in the field. The high current capability and compact design make DLRO 600 suitable for testing circuit breaker contacts, switch contacts, busbar joints or other applications where high current is needed.
Megger DLRO10HD Digital Low Resistance Ohmmeter
The DLRO10HD enhances Megger’s family of 10 Amp DC low resistance ohmmeters. This heavy duty model combines simplicity of operation with selected high power ranges and the ability to simultaneously make measurements and charge the battery from line power. The unit is IP65 rated with lid closed and IP54 when operating from battery power. The lid is removable to facilitate simple connection of test leads.
Megger DLRO200-115 Digital Low Resistance Ohmmeter
A versatile instrument, the DLRO200-115 can provide test currents from 10 amps up to 200 amps, subject to the load resistance and supply voltage. For those applications that demand a smooth dc current, the DLRO200-115 has extra filtering on the output to reduce mains frequency ripple and can drive 200 amps through a total current loop resistance of 11 milliohms. The filtered output of the DLRO200-115 also eliminates magnetic transients that could inductively trip a breaker’s control (bus differential relay), if left in the test circuit.
