Mr. Maiss is a co-founder and the Managing Director of Magnus, and has been involved in the corporate arena for over 25 years. Starting his career in the technology sector as a self-taught programmer, Mr. Maiss went on to hold numerous sales and operational management positions for a wide range of companies, from small, entrepreneurial start-ups to NYSE publicly-traded firms. These positions included executive level positions for six companies, and his experience encompasses sales & marketing, operational management, finance, accounting, retail, inventory management, patents & intellectual property, regulatory compliance, IT, and more. Fourteen years ago, Mr. Maiss began his studies in Naturopathic and herbal medicine, and two years ago made a long overdue transition into the health & fitness arena as a fitness trainer and nutritional specialist at Pendola Training in Reno, Nevada. Mr. Maiss quickly became a head trainer and business executive for Pendola, and had the honor and pleasure of training several professional and Division I college athletes, encompassing such sports as football, baseball, basketball, boxing, MMA, volleyball, tennis, soccer, swimming, track & field, and triathlons.
