The
Fault Wizard Portable Fault Location System can spot defects up to a distance of 10,000 feet. There’s no need for complicated waveform analysis. The Fault Wizard can also work as a  thumper and a DC hipot. In thumper mode this test set is capable of a pulsed output of as much as 350 Joules every 6 seconds. It also has enough power to give an audible thump on top of the ground for pinpointing the fault location. The hipot mode can be used either to condition the fault or to prove the integrity of insulation after repairs have been performed. This cable fault locator is all you need to make underground cable troubleshooting easy.
